I am Hobie’s new Marketing Director, but don’t let that fool you as have been marketing for outdoor brands to ensure I can run whitewater rivers and fish as much as possible ;-). I hail from just outside of Ottawa, Canada but have fished globally for decades. Fishing has taken me all over South and Central America, into Europe and out to the islands. I won the 2012 World Musky Fly Fishing Championships as well as the inaugural Los Buzos World Offshore Kayak Fishing Championships but mostly fish on expeditions now vs competition. My local waters play host to bass, musky, pike and walleye, but my preference are the toothy creatures.
