My love for fishing was instilled in me at a very young age, raised in South Carolina by parents that embraced the outdoor lifestyle. I began kayak fishing in 2016 alongside my husband. Together, we travel cross country and fish when my husband’s duty with the US Coast Guard permits travel. I am a co-founder of the Women’s Fishing Federation. This federation serves as a platform for educating and empowering women in the world of fishing. Although my tournament statistics are not much to talk about, I have had a presence in the kayak community that spans across the United States. Over the last seven years I have volunteered for many on the water demos with dealers, hosted “The Kayak Fishing Experience” for the ladies the last five years, attended ICAST in 2019, 2022, 2023 and 2024, as well was a speaker in in 2018, 2022, 2023 and 2024 at the International Sportsman’s Expo in Sacramento.
