My journey into kayak fishing began in the spring of 2017. Prior to that, I had never really considered myself a dedicated “fisherman.” My fishing experiences were limited to occasional trips to rivers and creeks, where I’d try my luck at catching trout and smallmouth bass, typically during our family’s annual visits to our cabin in Pennsylvania.

Fast forward to today, and I find myself in a remarkable position as the president and Tournament Director of one of the most prestigious kayak fishing series in the Mid-Atlantic region—the Mid-Atlantic Kayak Bass Fishing Series. My passion for angling has undergone a transformative evolution. I now actively participate in 7-8 national tournaments each year, traversing the entire East Coast in pursuit of my passion.

I consider myself incredibly fortunate to be a part of the vibrant and supportive community of kayak anglers who share my enthusiasm. Through this newfound passion, I’ve not only discovered the joy of fishing but also found a meaningful way to honor the memory of my brother each time I set out onto the water.

An avid angler based in Northern California. Fishing is not just a hobby for me; it’s a passion that runs deep in my veins. Living close to Clear Lake, San Francisco Bay, and pristine rivers in the Sierras, I’m blessed with diverse fishing opportunities.
I started fishing as a child with my father. We would go up to Lake Tahoe and fish for trout in the Truckee River. Eventually, I found bass fishing and started competing in tournaments during the pandemic. I’ve since been able to participate in both kayak and bass boat tournaments at the collegiate level.
I’m all about embracing the outdoors and making memories on the water with family and friends. Fishing truly brings me joy, and I cherish every moment I spend pursuing this incredible sport.

Starting in 2016, I fell in love with fishing. Being limited to bank fishing, I had to find a way to explore more. After purchasing my first kayak in 2017, I discovered a statewide kayak series in Michigan called the Michigan Kayak Trail and dipped my toes into the kayak bass fishing realm joining in on a couple of their tourneys. Since 2018 I have been a regular in the MKT series and a Tournament Director for the local league night series called Topwater Series. I have been blessed to have met some of the coolest people I know competing in this sport that I love. Kayak fishing for me is a getaway that provides so many different outlets from the day-to-day grind that we call life. I get to experience the peace and beauty of nature while doing what I love. A perfect day for me consists of chasing smallmouth on any of the local rivers or flipping a jig along the challenging shores of the Saginaw Bay!

My journey as a competitive kayak angler began in 2015, and I’ve been sharing my love for fishing as a guide since 2020. Living in the heart of Tennessee provides me with boundless opportunities to explore and enjoy numerous lakes, rivers, and streams for both fishing and recreation.

Every year, my goal has been to secure a spot in the Hobie Bass Open Series – Tournament of Champions, an event that has been the pinnacle of kayak fishing tournaments for several years now. My passion for fishing is unwavering, and I find great joy in imparting my knowledge to others, teaching them the art of fishing. Above all, spending time on the water brings me immense fulfillment, making it a true source of happiness in my life.

Hey Folks, I am currently 28 years old and work as a Firefighter. On the road from the Yak for 4 years. In addition to my main waters in the Netherlands where I prefer to fish for Perch, I drive whenever I can to Italy, Spain and France to fishing for Black Bass. Fishing the tournament now excites me the most and getting around for it is simply the best. See you on the water 👊🏻

I hail from San Antonio, Texas, but it often feels like I was meant to be born on an island or somewhere closer to the water. Nearly every weekend, you’ll find me exploring the Texas coast in search of that next exciting catch or simply relishing the beauty of the outdoors, even when the fish aren’t as cooperative. Whether it’s a journey miles down the beach for an offshore fishing adventure or a trip inland to enjoy the crystal-clear waters, my wife and daughter love to join me in these escapades. They’re such avid enthusiasts that they even accompany me to Florida for kayak tournaments.

In my neck of the woods, the primary species we target include red drum, speckled trout, and flounder. It’s hard to beat the thrill of tangling with a robust red drum year-round, but during the winter months, the larger trout provide quite the challenge.

I was born and raised in East Tennessee, and I continue to call it my home. Fishing is my passion, and I spend the majority of my time indulging in it. I’ve had the privilege of embarking on exciting adventures that have led me to explore various parts of this incredible country. Whether it’s flipping arrowhead patches in Florida or catching massive Smallmouth Bass in the Great Lakes, I’ve had some unforgettable experiences. I consider myself an angler first and foremost, but I’m also a YouTuber, podcaster, and content creator, sharing my love for fishing with others.

My love for fishing was instilled in me at a very young age, raised in South Carolina by parents that embraced the outdoor lifestyle. It was not until 2016 that I began kayak fishing after receiving a Hobie Outback as an engagement present from my husband. Together, we began traveling cross country and fishing alongside each other when my husband’s duty with the US Coast Guard permitted travel.  Needing to channel my passion for fishing and recognizing the need for greater representation and support for women in the sport, I co-founded Women’s Fishing Federation alongside Kristine Fischer and Mel Isaacs. This federation serves as a platform for educating and empowering women in the world of fishing.

I hail from the heart of the Pacific Northwest, where the fusion of saltwater and freshwater offers an abundance of year-round fishing opportunities. I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have access to a diverse array of fisheries that remain open throughout every season. My annual fishing expeditions invariably commence with the pursuit of winter steelhead, a species I hold in the highest esteem. If I were compelled to choose just one fish to pursue for the rest of my life, it would unquestionably be the elusive winter steelhead.

Motivated by the belief that everyone should have the opportunity to savor the joys that fishing brings, I take it upon myself to organize and lead exclusive fishing trips designed specifically for women.
