My journey into kayak fishing began in 2015, but it was in 2018 that I took a significant step by purchasing my first Hobie, a PA14. Owning this kayak inspired me to venture into tournament fishing. I initially dipped my toes into the world of competition through online tournaments before participating in local meetup tournaments.
Over the past four years, my focus has shifted towards national events, including the Hobie Bass Open Series and the Bassmaster tournaments, where I achieved a commendable 7th place in the AOY standings. As the upcoming season approaches, I’m eager to further expand my participation in national-level competitions while maintaining a strong presence in local events whenever possible.
