I’m Richard Archer, a competitive kayak angler who lives for the challenge of tournament fishing.
Based in the UK, I spend most of my time on reservoirs, rivers, and lakes, targeting Zander, Perch, and Pike. Kayak fishing gives me the freedom to access water that others can’t, and I’ve built my approach around precision, efficiency, and adaptability.
My competitive record includes back-to-back Kayak Angler of the Year titles in 2023 and 2024, ElitePro League Champion in 2024, and winning a World Silver Medal with Team England in 2024. These achievements push me to keep improving and testing myself against the best.
For me, it’s all about the competition, the process, and the constant drive to get better.
