I was born in Calabria, southern Italy, 45 years ago, and fishing has been my passion since I was seven years old. Over the years, it has become more than just a passion—it’s now my profession. In 2011, I made history by catching the first bluefin tuna in Italy entirely from a kayak.
My drive to seek out large predators fuels my adventures on the Ionian and Tyrrhenian seas aboard my Outback. Some of my most prized catches include groupers (personal best: 35kg), bluefin tuna, amberjacks (p.b. 30kg), snappers (p.b. 9kg), and false albacore, for which I hold the Italian kayak fishing record with a 14kg specimen.
