A few years ago, I wasn’t a fisherman—until a friend introduced me to Hobie kayaks, and I was instantly hooked. Since then, I haven’t looked back—I practically live on my kayak now (I even have two!).
Based in Sofia, Bulgaria, I spend my winters fishing in nearby freshwater reservoirs. When summer comes, I head to the stunning southern Black Sea coast, where I chase local species like Bonito, Bluefish, Black Scorpionfish, and more.
There’s nothing more beautiful or exciting than greeting the sunrise from a kayak out on the open sea!
