I am a lifetime angler from Oak Island, N.C. and have fished recreationally, commercially, as a guide and as a professional tournament angler. I also have 38 years experience photographing and writing about outdoor experiences across the US, plus several trips to Central America. My tournament experience includes a National Championship and election to their Hall of Fame in the Southern Kingfish Association, plus Angler of the Year honors in the US Anglers Association. Kayak fishing has become my passion and relaxation after competing heavily and I’m ready to go fishing at any time. Salt water is preferred, but fresh water works too.
