Growing up in South Louisiana, I’ve been fishing for as long as I can remember—starting with cypress swamps and coastal marshes. When I moved to Tennessee in 2007, I swapped the bayous for the lakes and rivers of the Volunteer State. My competitive fishing journey began in 2008 with boat tournaments, but in 2016, I discovered kayak fishing and immediately connected with both the sport and its tight-knit, competitive community.
In 2021, I purchased my first Hobie kayak, and by 2022, I joined the Hobie Fishing Team, competing in both local and national tournaments. Fishing and the outdoors have always been my passion, and for me, there’s nothing quite like watching the sun rise over the water, waiting for ‘lines in’.
