I discovered fishing later in life after an injury sidelined me from the professional foosball tour and I quickly became fascinated with learning to understand and catch bass. I’ve always been an outdoors person and love being on the water, camping, and adventuring, and following the kayak bass fishing trails the past few years has been some of the most fun I’ve ever had! Starting my GirlGoneFishing YouTube channel to document my fishing journey led to joining the Strictly Sail & Kayak Fishing Team in 2021 and getting my amazing Hobie Lynx which changed everything by enabling me to car-top a pedal kayak I could compete on. I still have so much work to do in learning more about fish and how to catch them to improve my tournament results, but I absolutely love the challenge, and I am so glad I found this amazing sport of fishing! I feel so happy and so grateful every time I’m out on the water on my Hobie Lynx!
